Vernon

Choi Han-sol was born in New York to a Korean father and an American mother, growing up bilingual and bicultural in Seoul after the family relocated. His mixed heritage and native English fluency gave SEVENTEEN's rap unit an American hip-hop authenticity that other groups struggled to replicate. He was scouted by Pledis while still in middle school and trained for several years before debuting at 17.
