Song Yu-qi joined Cube as an international trainee at 16, moving alone from Shanghai to Seoul. She hosted a successful Chinese variety show, 'Yuqi's World', during (G)I-DLE's career — a rare instance of a K-pop idol maintaining a parallel entertainment career in another country.
