ABOUT

High Up Entertainment's six-member group debuted in 2020 under the production of hitmakers Black Eyed Pilseung, known for crafting a bright, retro-pop sound they call 'Teen Fresh'. Their 2023 mini album 'Teenfresh' and subsequent world tour broke the group into major international markets.

THE MEMBERS

S

Sumin

Seoul, South Korea

Park Su-min is STAYC's leader and main vocalist. She trained at High Up Entertainment for several years, developing a powerful upper register that drives STAYC's most demanding vocal arrangements. As the eldest, she provides the group's emotional and professional anchor — a role she took on at debut and has grown into as STAYC has expanded internationally.

Beyond K-pop

Fashion design — she sketches her own clothing concepts — vintage hunting in Seoul markets, and film photography.

S

Sieun

Daegu, South Korea

Lee Si-eun appeared as a contestant on K-pop Star, the talent competition, as a child, giving her early public performance experience before she joined High Up. Her self-possession on stage reflects those years of competition training. She is STAYC's most detail-oriented vocalist, known for the technical care she applies to phrasing and articulation.

Beyond K-pop

Writing — she keeps detailed journals — reading widely across fiction and poetry, and spending time outdoors.

I

Isa

Seoul, South Korea (Korean-American)

Lee Isa grew up partly in the United States, which gave her natural English fluency and a Western aesthetic sensibility that shows in how she approaches fashion and styling. She joined High Up as a trainee in her teens and became STAYC's primary dancer, bringing a looseness and swagger to choreography that reflects her exposure to American street dance culture.

Beyond K-pop

Skateboarding, photography, and street fashion — she is one of K-pop's most recognisable streetwear collectors among her generation.

S

Seeun

Daejeon, South Korea

Kim Se-eun trained at High Up from her early teens and developed into one of STAYC's most versatile performers — equally effective as a vocalist and dancer. She is the member most frequently noted by STAYC's choreographers for her ability to adapt to different movement styles, from sharp, precise K-pop formations to softer, more contemporary approaches.

Beyond K-pop

Dance choreography — she creates short routines independently for fun — drawing, and listening to music ranging from vintage R&B to contemporary K-pop.

Y

Yoon

Daegu, South Korea

Kim Yoon joined High Up in her early teens and debuted with STAYC at 17. She is the group's most consistently cheerful presence — a natural extrovert whose warmth is visible both on stage and in behind-the-scenes content. Her vocal tone, lighter and airier than Sumin's, provides textural contrast in STAYC's arrangements and has become particularly distinctive in the group's more subdued mid-tempo tracks.

Beyond K-pop

Cooking Korean comfort food, watching films and keeping a running list of recommendations, and gaming.

J

J

Seoul, South Korea

Lee Jung is STAYC's maknae, debuting at 16 as the group's youngest main dancer. She began training at High Up in her early teens and developed a physically precise, energetic movement style. Despite being the youngest, she performs with the confidence of someone who has been on stage for years — a quality that became obvious from STAYC's debut performance.

Beyond K-pop

Fitness and strength training (she is the most athletically driven member), hip-hop music listening, and cooking.
