LE SSERAFIM

Miyawaki Sakura entered Japanese idol culture at 12 as a member of HKT48, then graduated to AKB48 — one of Japan's largest idol franchises — before joining IZ*ONE via Produce 48 in 2018. When IZ*ONE disbanded, she chose to continue in Korea rather than return to Japanese entertainment, signing with Source Music and debuting in LE SSERAFIM in 2022. By any measure, she is one of the most experienced performers in fourth-generation K-pop, with over a decade of professional stage time before LE SSERAFIM's first single.

Kim Chae-won trained first at Woollim Entertainment before Produce 48 brought her to IZ*ONE in 2018. Like Sakura, she chose Korea over a return to solo activity when IZ*ONE ended, and the two ended up as LE SSERAFIM's elder foundation. As the group's leader, Chaewon's methodical precision and calm under pressure set the standard — she is the most technically consistent live performer in the group.

Huh Yun-jin grew up in the United States, where she competed in American singing competitions as a teenager before returning to Korea to pursue K-pop. She is the only member of LE SSERAFIM who writes songs — her English-language track 'Sour Grapes' from the group's debut mini album was entirely self-written and became the most emotionally discussed track among fans. Her songwriting credits have expanded with each release.

Nakamura Kazuha was not pursuing K-pop when she was scouted. She was training as a professional ballet dancer at the Dutch National Ballet in the Netherlands — one of Europe's most prestigious companies — when a Source Music recruiter reached out. She had no prior K-pop training and learned everything after joining the trainee system. Her ballet foundation manifests in the extraordinary precision and linear elegance of her movement, which gives LE SSERAFIM its most distinctive visual element.

Hong Eun-chae is LE SSERAFIM's maknae, debuting at 15. Despite being the youngest in a group otherwise composed of experienced performers, she matched the group's physical intensity from the first performance — an athleticism built through years of training that began when she was barely in secondary school. Her buoyant, open personality is a natural counterweight to the group's otherwise restrained image.
