Bannea Manon grew up in France with a classical piano background before competing on American Idol at 18, where her voice and charisma drew widespread attention. She joined HYBE's Dream Academy competition — the global talent search that formed KATSEYE — and became the first French member of a major HYBE act. Singing in English, Korean, and French, she gives KATSEYE a genuinely international texture.

Sofia Laforteza competed on American Idol as a teenager, earning a devoted following for her powerful, soulful vocal delivery. She entered Dream Academy as one of its strongest vocalists and became one of KATSEYE's most consistent stage performers. Her background spans choir, musical theatre, and contemporary pop.

Celine Jimenez Decker is KATSEYE's dance captain in all but title — her technique, passion, and precision on stage are immediately visible. A fluent Spanish speaker, she brings Latin movement sensibilities into KATSEYE's choreography and has spoken about wanting to bridge K-pop and Latin pop audiences.

Dabbagh Lara is one of K-pop's most distinctive vocal colours — her Lebanese-Australian upbringing gave her an ear for both Western pop and Middle Eastern melodic traditions. She was discovered through an online posting and quickly became a fan favourite in Dream Academy for the emotional depth she brings to every performance.

Han Megan grew up in Chicago and was immersed in both Korean and American cultural worlds from childhood. She entered Dream Academy with an already formidable stage presence — her command, timing, and ability to lead a room are qualities usually seen in artists with a decade of experience. At KATSEYE's Grammy performance, she was widely noted as the group's most magnetic presence on stage.

Shim Yoon-chae is KATSEYE's sole Korean member. She trained at Source Music — HYBE's sub-label — before being entered into Dream Academy, where her technical polish stood in contrast to the raw energy of her international co-members. Her K-pop training background gives KATSEYE a centre of discipline and precision that anchors the group's performances.
