Seoul, South KoreaKim Ji-soo was scouted by YG Entertainment in 2011 while still in high school. She trained for five years — among the longest training periods of any BLACKPINK member — before debuting as the group's eldest member and visual at 21. Beyond music, Jisoo pursued acting and starred as the lead in the Korean drama Snowdrop in 2021, earning her the title of BLACKPINK's most prominent multi-hyphenate. She launched her solo career in 2023 with the single 'Flower', which debuted at number one on Korea's Circle Chart.
