Giselle

Uchinaga Aeri was raised in Tokyo and grew up trilingual in Japanese, Korean, and English — a combination that gave her a cross-cultural fluency unusual even by international K-pop standards. She joined SM through a Global Audition and debuted as aespa's main rapper in 2020. Her dry wit and self-aware humour contrast with the group's high-concept art direction and have earned her a devoted separate fanbase.
